What is an unstaffed shop?
A shop where no staff need to be present. Customers let themselves in, take what they need and pay by themselves. Your shop stays open while you're working, or simply off. A bit like an honesty shop, but with a smart lock and payment by phone.
Who is Hylle for?
For any independent business owner who wants to run their own shop without always having to be there. Think of a self-service farm shop, a bakery or a butcher, but also a vineyard, flower grower or village shop. Selling something else? That works too.
When does Hylle launch?
We'll only name a date once we're sure we can keep it. If you're on the waitlist, you'll be the first to know.
What happens after I sign up?
You'll get a confirmation email. We'll keep you posted and get in touch as soon as you can start. There's no commitment.
Does Hylle work with my door and lock?
Hylle opens your door via a smart lock, with a PIN or QR code from the app. Hylle is software: we don't supply the lock or shop fittings. We'll talk with you personally about which lock suits your shop.
